- Stress -

Today is pissy day. In other words, stress!!!

My everyday stress had gotta be parking. Thank gawd we're moving in few months! Parking won't be a problem. Well, I gotta blame myself for being late. I got reasons for being late ogie. *blames facebook. Maybe I should turn my pc off everytime I go to bed. LOL.

Today happen to be the worst in my entire life! Waited for nearly 3 hours. Well not really 3 hours, more like more than 2 hours. I know rite, who in their right frigging mind would wait that long. I do and did. Actually I had this experience where I waited my so called "friends" outside the state library for 3 hours. Bummer. I can't blame them for being my total opposite. Lets not go there.

Anyways, about today. I mean I don't have any problem not getting parking for 2 hours but when you already estimated which car would come out and waited for it at the same spot for that long hours and someone else "rob" that parking slot from you is just *sigh TERRIBLE!

In this case, it's the old baldy who owns plate number SA 3410 E!!!!

Lets not start the story about him digging his nose. GROSS!!! Urgh, especially when your car is located behind his car and you couldn't help but to notice what the driver is doing. *sweat.

I see this car everyday. I think. And everytime he would come late and steals parking!!! *sigh. Well from me, twice actually. This retarded baldy's excuse was "my fren called me for parking". Yeah rite! The Agro Bank driver is his fren when he randomly ask him whether he's going out? WTH is that? So baldy telling me that he knows everyone at that parking area except me?! Bugger! *sigh.

Maybe I should start be nice and get to know everyone at the parking lot huh?

On another note, I've been parking at that area for 5 years and I only happen to notice baldy this year. So, wut's wrong with this picture? I also happen to know who owns which car and wut time they will go out. *sweat. It's too hard not to notice when you see them everyday and waiting is boring, you tend to observe and see things in a different way.

Anyways, moral of the story, never be late for work when your office is IN THE CITY!

I rest my case.

Friday Boardgame Outing at CarcaSean

- LONG POST AHEAD -

Friday nite is boardgame nite!

Location: CarcaSean, Citymall
Time: 7:30pm onwards till midnite

I think there was eight (8) of us who's playing and some came to check out.

First of all, I could never understand what's wrong with Citymall. Always have congestion problem. And when you got to the parking area. There's nothing. What a disappointment. *sigh. Sad part is 2 lane becomes 1 lane coz of stewped people double parking.

Lets move on to the gewddies!

fara joined us for cardgame today

I'm sorry but PaintCheck will have to wait. We didn't get to play it this time either. We though, did give a second (2nd) try on Illuminati: New World Order. I think it was so complicated that we gave up after nearly 1 hour trying. LOL. It's like playing Magic the Gathering. *faints. My brain is tired. I mean seriously.

Alar~ I didn't get to use my "ghey" card.

Move on to a new game. Recommended by rob-jr (I call him acing). This game is called

"HALLI GALLI: X-Mas Edition"
If I remember correctly. No of players is 4 - 6. But we somehow exceeded it. There was 7 or 8 of us playing.

We got it all wrong the first time LOL. *roll eyes at acing. LOL lucky Sean noticed and guided us through the game.

the wrong way to play it. you're not suppose to look at your card

The right way to play it. Having your cards faced down and flipped one card during your turn.

We have 4 types of cards, which is the candle/s, ornament/s, xmas tree/s and snowman/s. These cards are distributed till the very last card to the players. On each player's turn, he/she turns over a card until the card's item (same item) no. is equals to 5. When that happens, the player needs to ring the bell. The player who rings the bell the fastest gets all the card laid on the table.

Here's the catch. If the player rings the bell when the item no. is not equal to 5 or more than 5. That player will have to distribute his/her cards to the other player. The player with the most cards win!!!

Oh yeah, not forgetting you need fast hand. I'm not fast enuff. *cries.

Very funny game. And we were loud.

I'd record a video of the gameplay. Oh yeah, sorry, it's a bit long. I was waiting till somebody rings that bell. LOL.

Two (2) rounds till we switch to another game.

Which is...

"SHADOW HUNTERS"

Oh this game is kewl! I mean the drawings on the cards are pretty.

No. of players is 4 - 8. We filled up the slot.

Each player is represent by a color board (there's 8 color boards to choose from: blue, white, black, pink, red, yellow, green and orange) and there's 2 token. 1 is to be placed on the damage track while the other as your movement around the board.

Green I choose you!

Go CAPTAIN PLANET! Er...ogie, I got a lil over excited.

There character card contains Hunter, Neutral and Shadow. Each have their own win condition. Players randomly pick a card and place on the color board. Not revealing your character to the other players.

The first player rolls the dice for movement.

The numbers indicate the no. on the card which are locations.

There are 6 types of location cards which consist of Cemetery, Church, Hermit's Cabin, Underworld Gate, Erstwhile Altar and Weird Woods which are placed on random order. Like for example if you rolled no. 6. You'll go to the Church and can draw a White Card.

White and black cards are useful equipments for battle or to reveal a character.

Hermit card that are drawn by the player are given to a selected player. This card is advisable to be use at the beginning of the round to reveal or to have a gewd idea which character is the player.

After a movement phase, the player may or may not attack another player. A player can reveal their character if they choose to. This might be an advantage or disadvantage at some point (I'll explain this in awhile).

Remember the types of characters? Hunters, shadows (unknown, vampires, warewolf, etc) and neutral (human). Well, each character have a win condition and special ability.

Like for example, Hunters must kill all shadows in order to win the game.

Here are all the character cards. The win condition and special ability are on the card.

There are 10 characters to choose from but only 8 comes into play.

We had 2 rounds of this game. Love it! It's so much fun! Everyone is against me. I'm dead at the beginning of the game in both rounds. I think I'm a target coz my HP is 14 LOL. Highest HP. Aiya~

Remember, karma and revenge is sweet~! I'll get ya guys next time.

Oh yeah, just in case you couldn't understand my explanation, you can always check BoardGameGeek.

It's just me imagining. Well since the color look like frog. Might as well.

Cute ain't it?

We finish at around midnite.

"The Nasi Lemak Stand"

What we didn't get to play is. A game by acing/rob-jr from Experimental Playground called The Nasi Lemak Stand.

It's a single player game. You can download read more about it, here.

It's a simple game. You'll need around 10-15 mins only for this game. Oh yeah, not forgetting that the drawing is cute too ei?

Objective of this game is to gain points from serving customers who requested nasi lemak with a selection of egg, squid or beef. I think I'll need to play it first before I could explain it in my own words.

tokens
Ogie, I'm finally done! Hope this post isn't too confusing. It's afterall is a combination of 4 types of games explained. Well, not all explained nicely but some yeah.
Thanks for reading this long post. It's almost 3am, so I guess I'm off to bed. If I could sleep, if not, I guess I'll be watching JDorama or play Pokemon Platinum on DS.

Oh yeah. Sweet dreams!

Fill your life with laughter...hang on...

Let your imagination run wild.

Hehe.

Alright, before I start today's post. I actually had this idea about strangers at my workplace. But then I couldn't get a shot of him, instead I'm gonna make everyone laugh. Well, if you have a really gewd imagination and you have a sense of humor of coz.

Guess what me and my sis spotted on the way home.

Please ignore the reflection. My sis took it when the car is moving while I was driving. We spotted this yesterday actually but only manage to get ourselves ready with the camera before the traffic light turns green to snap it.

I was driving pretty slow, thank gawd I'm on the slow lane and there wasn't any fussy driver behind me.

We were relating sentences with the word "Hang On". I know it won't be so funny if you pronounce it in chinese but if it were in English.

It's like, "if you wanna suicide, go to this shop: Hang On".

"if you feel blue, go to this shop: Hang On".

I know, pretty random right? But these aren't as funny as the full photo. As follows.

Hang on Hardware. I laughed even harder. I guess there's something wrong with my way of thinking but this is hilarious. It's funny the time we spotted Kedai Hang On. It's even funnier when we discovered something way funnier than the one we spotted.

I'm sorry if some of you guys dun get the joke but for the others that do get this? Bravo! XD

Have fun! And thanks for dropping by again.

p/s: I want to redesign my layout but I'm so lazy. Like uber laziness. Harlp~

CSP Mini Photography Workshop

I'm slow on the updates. I'm occupied with other stuff. Wait, today is Tuesday? *thinking.

Anyways, last Sunday, I went to Jofanna Bridal at Plaza Grand Millennium for a mini photography workshop conducted by Sir George/JoJ, specially for the ClickStartPlay (CSP) forumers. The discussion thread, here.

There's 13 participants (including myself) and 2 (zero and alvin) assisting JoJ during the workshop. Funny how random seating somehow separates between Canon and Nikon user. LOL.

I took 4 pages of notes during the workshop. Writing in the dark is not a problem for me. Oh yeah, the last sentence, I added some extra words, I think when I was copying that from the screen, I sort of end up writing wut JoJ said instead. LOL.

Learned a lot from this workshop. Oh yeah, the fewd are great! Especially the meehoon! Boxing chicken *drooling.

I now know how to "properly" use the camera hehehe. From, ISO, metering, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, type of lenses etc. Oh yeah and not forgetting the 7 AWSUM keys. Well my previous knowledge are based on trial and error. Reading is not my forte. I'm very lazy when it comes to reading. Practical and show by example works for me. And JoJ way of "teaching" is fun. Sure got my attention. At least, I didn't fall asleep. I could have since I only had 3-4 hours of sleep the day before.

We'd have our sessions with the wall.

Our test subjects.

Oh yeah, I realize when I take photo of people, I tend to er like my sis said, "crop of part of their heads". I'm sorry. It's a habitual thing. I tried getting the head in the frame but erm, I can't explain myself. Maybe I'll practice in that department.

JoJ!!! Requesting another workshop! XD

Anyways, there's more photos but those are trial error photos. So am not gonna upload it. Well maybe, see first. XD

On another note. Flan published his Anima photo book via blurb, here's his post. Guess who's on the cover? XD

ME!

photo from flaneganb.net

I want a copy of this book! Flannie~ shipping is GG.

Anyways, my brain need some sorting. I have sewing projects pending and photos for my miniatures soon. Must resist temptation. Must not buy any nendoroids. Waiting for my Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji nedoroids and new Pinky Street figures.

My post about nendoroid figures, here.

Till the next post. Thanks for reading.

Boardgame Outing

I'm suppose to be sleeping and it's past 2am. I came back half an hour ago. Thank gawd my bro went home at the same time as me. *giggles. If not I'll be paranoid thinking.

Had a boardgame outing today at CarcaSean at around 8pm.

We were trying out on new boardgame that Panja brought along today. There's like er 3 -4 boardgame that we wanted to try out.

We started with Illuminati: New World Order. Being first time player, this seems a bit complicated for 7 of us. I mean seriously. *sweat. Ogie, not a bit, but a lot. It requires a lot of reading. And reading is so not my forte.

I couldn't explain this game since I'm not familiar with it. But I'll post up some photos. And let google do the search for explaining hehe.

According to Steve Jackson's Game site, INWO is the trading-card version of Illuminati, the original game of conspiracy and weirdness from Steve Jackson Games. And further weirdness: Assassins, a 125-card supplement, and INWO SubGenius, a 100-card supplement and standalone expansion. Plus the INWO Book, a complete player's guide to INWO.

There's a total of 450 cards. From that explanation, I still dun get it LOL.

At the start of the game, you get this much cards. Er, plot and group cards? Ogie, I still dun get it.

Just follow the link to understand the game better. I'm just gonna wait for Panja to explain to me. Easy that way. *giggles.

To summarize what this game is about. Look at the following photo.

Erm not this. @_@ woops. Lets zoom it.

TADA~~

LOL ATTACK!!! ATTACK!!!

You need to roll some dices during an action phase. Maybe? @_@""

Action tokens, we use Betrayal boardgame tokens *giggles.

After 2 hours still confuse.

We stop at 10:15pm coz sotong gtg. Started Betrayal boardgame after that. Ended past midnite and went to yamchar till 1:30am only went home @_@""

Sorry. I seriously dun get this card game. Maybe if we play again next Friday, I could explain this in a better way. Just wait. If no post about it, then read up from wiki or the page I linked. Hehe.

There's another game that we wanted to tried out which is Paintcheck. A paintball game. No explanation yet coz we haven't start on this yet. Maybe next week. Stay tune~~

Well, that's pretty much about this week's boardgame outing. Thank yew for reading / viewing.

It's almost 3am. Urgh. I have a photography workshop at 10:30am @_@ omg~
