VASSAL - the open-source boardgame engine

Apart of being hooked on social networking, I've started to be hooked on this thing called VASSAL (click here to re-direct).  So what is this?
Vassal is a game engine for building and playing online adaptations of board games and card games. Play live on the Internet or by email. Vassal runs on all platforms, and is free, open-source software.

And the best part is? IT'S FREE!!!

So far, I've tested "Ghost Stories" and "Pandemic" with some friends.  Have yet to try other boardgames like "Betrayal", "Arkham Horror", "Citadel", "Puerto Rico" and etc.  You just need to download a bunch of modules available on the page.  Or you could just click here for the modules.

Fun fun fun!  Problem is, you need to read through the rule of the particular game you're playing, in this case, get someone who likes to read lol and it tends to lag if your connection starts to go all snaily on you.  Coz you need to sync with the other player.  That's the only problem.  Everything else is like having a boardgame session with your friends IRL except the whole typing thing.  Unless you turn on some kind of chat program like skype or something but I think typing is fine by me.  I'll keep ya guys posted if I find any other kewl games online.  Anyways, for those who likes to play boardgames, try this.  Neat stuff here.
