Wall E

I went to watch Wall E last Friday with a bunch of people. It was a 9:40pm show.

This is what I gotta say about the movie. I find the first part of the story interesting. Especially the bunny. Earth as "city of trash" and Wall E's construction with cubicle trashes are amazing. Oh, I do think Eve is great too. And the part when Wall E takes care of Eve when "she" shuts down is really cute. But, here's the thing, towards the end of the movie, I nearly fall asleep. I don't know whether that part of the storyline bores me or I'm uber sleepy. I can't seem to make sense. But, I gotta say too that I love the ending. I mean the part where they closes with Peter Gabriel's song, Down To Earth. That's absolutely awesome! Well except the part where the cinema staff turns it off! GG!

People have their own opinion of this movie, and I'm one of those who's not really into it. But, the soundtrack is still awesome!

As much as a person love their home country. This is something that makes me hate it. What am I talking about? Easy, it's the dumb internet connection provided by our local service provider, TMNut! Coz their services sux big time! I bet I'm not the only one who complains about this, sotong's post about this is a bit disturbing but I've got sessions where I was redirected to the TMNut Speedmeter site when I tried browsing. Which is kinda GG if you ask me.

Heck remember the time I complained about the connection at work? Not being able to online for 3-4 days?! Ogie, I can online at work already but I keep on disconnected every now and then which is also GG!

They (em NUT) should find ways to improve their services, not just promoting and adding more users making everyone else paying a connection that's suck arse =_="

At this point, I'm just too annoyed from constant disconnection *sigh. FUDGE IT FUDGE IT!

When massy don't feel like going to work

I roughly had 8 hours of sleep. OMG, even if I get to go to work, I'll be playing my DS again, coz work requires internet. GG

If you don't see me by 10am, means I'm playing Space Invaders on DS again. Hahahahha ogie more like my internet at work still dead *sigh.

Birthday without a cake

I have tons of birthday wishes from friends on facebook, sms, my blog and msn messages. Thanks everyone *hugs~ I would like to mention every single one of you guys who wishes me "Happy Birthday", but I'm not that crazy. It a super long list. You know who you are people! I was gonna blog about it this morning but the internet connection at work turned GG. Ogie, sorry, the correct word would be, something wrong with the hub, so I sent it for fix.

Anyways, back to the earlier thought of how I planned to celebrate or in other words spend my "special day".

Since the internet line is down. I was playing Space Invader and Taiko no Tatsujin on DS. It's 1 day man. Seriously. I was getting on msn through my handphone but the the telephone service sucked the credit so badly that I sign out after awhile. Did try browsing to facebook, my blog and the forum earlier but the loading was bad. I mean seriously! Ogie fine! It's not that bad.

I've even wrote something for my blog. It's the case where I call myself as a 3rd person. Yes I know. It was so terrible that I had this song in my head.

I don't think this is the 1st time I've celebrated my birthday without a cake. It's not like I celebrate it every year. But I sort of was hoping for it this year T_T *sigh. But, guess what? This year? NO CAKE! *cries.

I somewhat feel depressed. I know I get money and gifts and all, but I want a frigging cake! XD I had my wishes planned. Noooooooooo T_T I wanted a cheese cake! *cries.

Guess what I did? I was complaining at my mum and I manage to convince her to order 2 large pizza as my cake! Place em candles there! And make sure the numbers is correct! Hmph~ "kijam!!!" T_T

At of this point, my day sux. I know, I'm complaining again. I sound like a brat now.

Ogie fine! It doesn't XD I guess I'm just bummed out coz I didn't have a cake XD NOT ANYMORE!

Sudden Fish Mee Outing @_@"""

I wasn't able to sleep becoz of this, FAIL Blog. Some are too funny and some are just "ouch".

I woke up around 8am, and was planning to sleep till my sis wakes up for the Sunday plan. But, while waiting for that, Jack posted a message at CSP.
Jack: "mas, fish meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

GG!!! So yeah, it's a last minute plan for breakfast? NOT! More like lunch XD

I got ready and went off around 10am-ish to pick Jack up at his home. We were the earliest one there. Then came, cubex and dias, then panja, then acing, and Irene and last but not least (well more like when we nearly finish our brunch), uncle came XD

Kedai Kopi Janggut. OMG what a name. But! The fewd are *thumbs up! I rike! Slightly expensive than Kedai Kopi Hilltop but it was worth it! XD

Oh yeah, this place is located slightly behind Kedai Kopi Hilltop. Well if you consider that as at the back? @_@ Recommended to try is the tom yam or the fish mee soup. Tasty for RM7 a bowl. It's slightly full in the morning which will clear off around noon. This place serve no pork!

Fruit Outing + Early Birthday??? O.o?

Dori/Ed was nice enuff to let me play with his newly bought Canon 450D since after Sabah Bloggers Gathering (SBG). I could get used to this. But it was not until last nite (the day of the "phats" (eight)) that I found a new "love". The 50mm lens owns by non other than zero/radzie himself *kicks. Uber poison.

I love it so much that I'm in that "thinking" state again. DONATE TO MASSY'S FUND!!!! *points wish list.

Anyways, lets erm proceed to what I did last night. It was the August fruit juice outing at Tg. Aru again. The purpose of a fruit outing is to "de-stress"!!!! The plan was to go to the beach early. I mean like around 6pm from home, but I was late =_=" coz somebody was late. *sigh. *stress mode ON. I saw that beautiful sky with a uber beautiful sunset burst! But when I finally reach there, which is after 6:30pm O.O!!!! GG! I didn't get the shot I wanted. Major disappointment *sigh. But heck, I got myself a large glass of dragonfruit juice. MWAHHAHAHAHA. Skip dinner people! Trust me, I ate dinner once and had this large glass of watermelon juice after, I bloated man! Check out em raves here.

After I posted this, I just realized I don't have a title.

It's been really really hot and sunny lately @_@ I felt like grilled "human" everytime I walk from my car to my office.

The initial idea was to blog about the camwhoring session we (me, dori, IRT, cubex and dias) at Mode Cafe the other that but I couldn't blog about it since I haven't got the photos from dori yet. I'll try to get it by Friday, hopefully. XD Massy taking advantage trying out the 450D. *giggles. Ogie more like dori's way of "poisoning" me with it. EBIL EBIL dori.

I went to Citymall yesterday to leech some photos I took with dori's new 450D DSLR but we couldn't find a lappy to transfer the photos. So, instead, we went to Ananas to hang out for awhile.


Took some shot at Ananas. With dori's camera. But hey peeps, I guess you guys have to just look at the ones I took with my camera instead first. While I got the photos from dori. Hehe.

We dropped by Mars for awhile and Uncle decided to try the Nintendo Wii. We're suppose to "poison" him with it. Here's a video I took of em playing Wii Sports, I mean tennis XD

I don't know where to start. But here goes.

Before SBG
What massy did?

I've reminded myself so many times to not to dress up for SBG. That I should go for comfort than trying to impress people. The one thing that is abit hard for me is to dress up. I dislike dressing up. It's the most stressful thing one could make me do. I'm not kidding. So, after a laying out the clothes that I possibly could and would wear, I make my decision. Notice the long black pants I wore to SBG? It's actually 5" extra long. Took me around 2 hours to sew it to hide the actual length *giggle.

I chat with Mimie on fb for the first time and got her on msn too. Yay for more contacts! *___* The actual plan was to go around 5pm. I don't wanna be late. But, I was slightly late coz I ran back to my room to get sweets. One can't survive without em. Ogie can, I know I know, not that I can't but I need em at times of emergency *rofl.

Here's how my day went by before going to SBG on Saturday at Roof Top Restaurant, Imperial International Hotel.

I reached there before 6pm and was happy that I met up with my bro (cubex), Irene (noooooooo I was expecting you to wear a loli dress! T_T), dias and Joanna. I also met Colin at the entrance. He said he was waiting for Jollence. Going alone makes massy a bit paranoid.

Reached the roof top restaurant. Jacq and Wei Chuen was at the registration counter. Both of them wore batik. The 1st 100 to reach there gets a goodie bag, which consist of some items like notebook, stickers, coupons etc. Oh I rike. Btw, I was actually in the same lift as Susan (osindak) earlier and was only introduced when I seated at her table *giggle. She's friendly :)


I met Mimie at one of the seats at the far end. She's definitely recognizable. The venue does have a very pretty setting. I love it. Most of the tables and chairs were arranged to fit 4 person. Noooooooo, I'm separated from my pack. T_T Oh well, we can always mingle. *giggles.

August: The Mark of a Great Month

Well at least I hope so.

This is when the pieces of puzzles are put into 1 big picture. Yeah I'm not really sure what I'm talking about. Ogie fine, I was not planning to talk about the month of August and what's is installed for me. Actually I had a flashback to when I had my 1st nose piercing on 1st August few years back. It was during my 2nd or 3rd year at college which was around year 2000 or 2001. I actually had it till 2005 (if I remember correctly). And no, I don't have it anymore. I blame the "retard" who forced me to take it off.

Oh well at least I had fun when I had it. How I freaked some people by pulling it in and out of my nose *rofl. That was fun. The look on their faces are priceless. Gosh how I wish I still have it XD

Anyways, not only the month of August is the month where all the Sabah bloggers gather, it is also my birth month (PRESENTO!!! GIMME PRESENTO!!! XD $_$) and uh uh I'm going for holiday end of the month! XD Weeeeeeeee.

So yeah, it's pretty much a great month as of this moment. And I'm not letting anyone or anything spoil it!

Sabah Bloggers Gathering in 2 days people! @_@ No, I'm not paranoid (*indenial). Serious! I'm not panicking. *shows serious face (failed attempt btw). Ogie, lets move on. Everyone been bz thinking of what to wear to this event. As for me, I have a mind set to what to wear. I'm going as myself! Shirt and jeans it is! I don't care whatever you people gonna say. *kici mata. Stop freaking me out. *FOCUS! I am focus! @_@"""

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday. LETS BEAT THE SABAH TIME PEOPLE AND GET FREEBIES MWAHAHAHHA. This is the part where I sound a bit "melebeh lebeh".

Anyways, I took the day off yesterday. No, I'm not lazy and I'm no boss. *roll eyes at Panja. I have my reasons. Seriously I do. And that would be coz of knee attack. Yes, you heard me. I got ready yesterday morning and when I was about to go off to work, well actually after I turned off my computer and stand, erm I actually couldn't. Well I could, just that I could stand properly. My left knee is giving me problems. Normally it would take me few minutes to recover from that sudden knee pain but unfortunately for yesterday, I wasn't able to move my left leg that much till it was 1pm. *sigh. I must have eaten something I shouldn't. I don't recall what though. Well ogie maybe I know but it didn't give me any problem till yesterday. So yeah. Even sitting down is painful around my knee. And unfortunately for me, I didn't have any medicine left, so I had to endure the pain till it goes away. Even though I'm a cry baby, pain is something I can handle. Yeap, suck it all up.

That said, no worries people. My legs are fine. I was able to drive to work today.


Anyways, that whole knee story is all done now. Now lets start to the movie marathon I had from yesterday. I was having my dinner till I found a movie called Flyboys. Inspired by a true story, this movie which was released on 2006.

Plot

A group of young Americans go to France, for different personal reasons, and volunteer to fight in the French Air Service, L'Aéronautique militaire, during World War I prior to America's entrance into the war. One of the main characters, Blaine Rawlings (James Franco) faced with the foreclosure of his family ranch in Texas, decides to enlist after seeing a newsreel of aerial combat in France. Dilettante Briggs Lowry (Tyler Labine) joins because of his overbearing father. African-American boxer Eugene Skinner (Abdul Salis) who had been accepted as an athlete in France was motivated to "pay back" his adopted country. These American recruits were under the command of French Captain Georges Thenault (Jean Reno) while the veteran fighter ace Reed Cassidy (Martin Henderson), a fellow American, takes over as their mentor.

During their training, the film mainly deals with the struggles each pilot has with the demanding flying; later, the focus shifts to the aerial dogfights that dominate the front line missions. Themes of camaraderie, racial prejudice, revenge and love are also explored. The film ends with an epilogue that relates each film character to the real-life Lafayette Escadrille figures on which the movie was based.

Well I thought I was gonna blog about this movie yesterday but I actually posted about it at clickstartplay forum. But what actually made me decided to blog about it today is coz I watched another GREAT MOVIE.


This movie is based on a true story. Waw. I wonder what's installed for me tomorrow night *giggles. I'm excited. Anyways, this movie was released in 1999. Can't believe I've never watched it till today, this very moment. Where have I been?! This movie is based on a true story of Homer Hickam, a coal miner's son who was inspired by the first Sputnik launch to take up rocketry against his father's wishes.
