[Food] Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu Unveils Auspicious Celebrations


Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu kicks off the Chinese New Year celebration with a Yee Sang tossing with the management of the hotel as well as local foodies.






Introducing the CNY Buffet by Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu General Manager, Mr. Kanit Sangmookda and chef introducing signature dishes.







The hotel is offering plenty of delicious Chinese New Year offerings including Prosperity Salmon Yee Sang which is available since the 10th January to 8th February 2020, priced at RM98nett for small, RM128nett for medium and RM168nett for large.


Enjoy appetizing dishes with the Reunion Dinner Buffet (24 January) at RM158nett per adult, Lunar Lunch Buffet (25 & 26 January 2020) at RM138nett per adult, and Chap Goh Mei Dinner Buffet (8 February) at RM158nett per adult.  Enjoy the auspicious poon choi, a traditional Cantonese dish featuring lavish seafood or meat platter.

In conjunction with the lunar celebration, the hotel also offers the Oriental Weekend Dinner Buffet, available from the 10th January to 9th February with a wide selection of Chinese-style gastronomy including Peking Duck, Chinese-style Roast Lamb Leg, Nian Gao, Signature Chicken Rice and Chef Mun's Noodle House.  Available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30pm to 10pm at RM138nett per adult.


















For a private and luxurious celebration, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu also offers four delectable Chinese New Year Set Menus from RM888nett onwards.  Each set menu features a harmonious of 8 or 9 combination of scumptious dishes including one Yee Sang Platter.  Savour  the delightful Golden Butter Organic Prawn with Golden Cereal Flakes and Roasted Chicken with Abalone Sauce.

  1. I miss being a food blogger especially when comes to the dessert section, I just can't stop taking photos of the colourful and delicate desserts. The salad station looks not bad and I saw smoked duck, which is currently I keep craving for it. Yum yum..

    1. Awww, why did you stopped though? Yess, I love the mango kerabu with isi ketam one. I love chinese food hahaha. Am not a big fan of sweet, more of a savory kinda person but sometimes the deco gets to me coz super cute.
