Kota Belud has a lot of hiking places and campsites, it also has plenty of instaworthy places with Mount Kinabalu as the background.  You could spot paddy fields in many parts of Kota Belud.  This time around, my group decided to go on a more relax trip, which doesn't involve hiking.  I can't say that we are hardcore when it comes to hiking but we love the challenge.  This trip is more about the stars.

Tegudon is one of those places that offers nice spots for star gazing, there's other places too like Kudat and Kokol Menggatal.  Check out Sabah Star Gazers for any future outings.  We also didn't have to wake up early to get to the campsite, left past lunch hour, thank god traffic wasn't bad.  Menggatal area is known for bad traffic, am not sure why the road is badly congested all the time, it's so annoying.  Not unless you go early, like way early.

[Food] Tasty Wok Venition Latest Seasonal Dim Sum Items Promotion.

Breakfast tradition among the Cantonese grown with eating various small portion dishes with tea, the small dishes are mainly dim sum items.  The word dim sum refers to small bite sized dishes that are served in bamboo steamer baskets or on small plates.  These small portions of food can be either savory or sweet and prepared steamed, baked or fried.  The small size allows the customer to order a great variety of dishes, creating a feast of different tastes and flavors.

Tasty Wok, Venition, launched five new items in their Dim Sum Seasonal Special menu starting this 10th March 2019 onwards.  The new items will be included in Tasty Wok's existing dim sum menu with more than 20 dim sum items to choose from.  Tasty Wok's Dim Sum Production Head Chef - Chef Cai Chengzhuang and Chef Feng Zhoajun, came all the way from Guangzhou with more than 15 years of experience in the high end Cantonese style dim sum.  Normally, Tasty Wok will add on new seasonal items every three months and taking out few dim sum items which are least favorite among the customers.  This is also a worthy place for no pork dim sum in town.

Damn Good Burger has been making their way in the KK food industry by opening their first cafe at Lorong Dewan in February of 2018.  It was founded by Mohd Ashmawi Asraf in August 2016 at Bandar Sierra, Telipok Ria, which started with just 1 burger stall, has now expanded their business to 2 cafe branches (Lorong Dewan and ITCC Penampang) and with a recent addition of their 1st Concept Store at Aeropod Commercial Square, strategically located just few minutes from the airport.  All that within a year!  Business must be blooming.

Wow, this took awhile to blog about.  I was excited last week but my schedule was pack and I didn't have time to blog about it.

You can't imagine how long it takes me to get here.  Every plan there is had been put off for the longest time.  Not anymore!  I finally reached Aura Montoria!  This trail doesn't disappoint, it's really beautiful and I love it!

A newly opened trail at Kg. Natai, Telipok near Kokol.  This trail is handled by Natai Eco Tourism and brings hikers along a 7km loop trail with river crossing, waterfalls and caves, over 800m elevation a.s.l.

I roughly know where Kg. Natai is since me and my running buddies will pass through this junction before running down to Kg. Tombongon for our 21km Kokol Hill training loop.
